Riri wheels her Ironheart suit north of the city, to Evanston, looking for Joe McGillicuddy, a man who should have all the parts she needs. Episode 3 provides further details about this character. In episode 4, Riri returns to find the house cordoned off by police tape. When Joe escapes from prison, he stops by in episode 5 where he threatens Heather and discovers that his powers are not under his control.

Joe lives on a quiet and unassuming street, which is on Superior Avenue in Decatur, GA. The interior of the living room and kitchen (from episodes 2 and 3, respectively) appear to have been filmed at this house as well.
