Sam continues his investigation to free Isaiah even after President Ross tells him to stop. Driving through town he is suddenly attacked by Sidewinder, indicating he must be on the correct trajectory to answers.

Fort Dupont Drive

The very first shot of this sequence has the camera invert 180° in a dizzying shot. A sign on the side of the (upside) portion of the road indicates this is Fort Dupont Drive, which is in southeast DC. At this time, this is an unknown road, presumably in Georgia. It is most certainly not the real Fort Dupont Drive.

Aaron’s Salvage Yard

Sam drives along a tree lined road talking with Joaquin on the phone when he is suddenly peppered with bullets from an assault rifle.

The driving portions and assault were both filmed in Grantville, Georgia. Sam is driving northwesterly on Lone Oak Street. The attack occurs on main Street, where Lone Oak and Church merge. He then runs into “Aaron’s Salvage” which fans may recognize as the wall from The Walking Dead.
