Sanitation worker cleans giant mural on the side of a building.

I got the biggest power washer, ’cause I didn’t wanna ruin the facade. Didn’t do squat.

Johnny Santini, from the Department of Sanitation, attempts to clean off the biggest mural of Mayor Fisk seen so far.

This mural was on the back side of 136 Crosby facing Rapkin-Gayle Plaza, at the corner of Grand and Lafayette Streets. This would have been more difficult to identify without seeing the herringbone brickwork of the plaza.
