These vigilantes, they are not heroes.

Having been acquitted of the crime of killing Officer Shanahan, Hector Ayala resumes his nightly activity of putting on his White Tiger costume and protecting his neighborhood. Unfortunately, his magic amulet doesn’t protect him from a bullet to the head.

Matt Murdock investigates this alley a short while later (episode 4), turning up a bullet casing used to murder his client.

This would have been a difficult location to find: it’s dark and foggy with relatively little to go on. But having just rewatched several seasons of the Netflix shows, including The Defenders, I recognized this path as the alley between St Nicholas Park and the buildings on the south side in Harlem. Hector starts at St Nicholas Ave, and the bottom of the hill that is W 128th Street, and walks west to St Nicholas Terrace, where he is shot.
