Ladies and gentlemen, the winner, by way of knockout, Jack “The Devil” Murdock!
Front & Marquee
An establishing shot of the Olympic Auditorium proclaims that Jack “The Devil” Murdock will be fighting John Romita (named after a Marvel comic artist who worked on Daredevil). At the end of the film, Matt tosses a red rose off the roof of the Olympic in memory of his father.
The Olympic Theater, on 8th Street in Los Angeles, serves as the front of this boxing arena. It opened in 1927 and is one of the few surviving movie palaces in the LA area.

Back Stage & Ring
Backstage, Jack Murdock is reminded by mobster Fallon that he needs to throw the fight–or else. Matt “watches” him walk out to the crowded auditorium and win the fight.
To make things more confusing, the boxing ring was shot at the Grand Olympic Auditorium, on South Grand Ave in Los Angeles. This location has since been converted into a Korean mega-church. If I had to guess, the backstage and hallway areas would also have been shot in this location, but according to Movie-Locations.com, they were filmed at the defunct Ambassador hotel (which was demolished 2 years later in 2005). That seems like a lot of trouble to go to when the production is already set up at a boxing arena.

Back Alley
Matt waits outside the theater for his father. Jack comes out of the back stairs and is beaten by an unseen assailant, who gets out of a limo and then leaves a rose on his body. Matt finds his father as the camera drifts away.
A third location serves as the back stairs and alley. Jack exits from the Roxie Theater on S. Broadway, walking into the back parking lot/alley area that faces Spring Street. In the shot with young Matt, the stairs are on screen right as the camera pulls backwards (heading North) along the alley behind S. Broadway.
