I was the boy without fear.

After Matt’s accident, he explores the rooftop of his building–performing acrobatics and other stunts. As an adult he brings Elektra to this same roof (which may or may not be outside his present day apartment) so he can “see” her in the rain. At the end of the film, he returns to find a version of Elektra’s necklace, in braille.

It’s difficult to determine which rooftop this is supposed to be, since the production used the same rooftop for nearly every scene needing a roof.This is the roof at 560 S Broadway, next door to the Broadway-Spring Arcade building in Los Angeles. The small cadre of rooftops surrounding this location were used for Matt’s apartment roof, the fight between Elektra and Bullseye, and various shots of Daredevil running around rooftops. Some of the night images below feature 610 S Broadway, the white building in the image immediately below. This was initial used for a stunt of Daredevil “sliding/jumping” down the 8 stories onto this roof as a practical effect. It never worked convincingly and the film ended up using a digital model of the character to achieve the same shot.
