The present day portions of the film take place on this expressway overpass. Wade manages to hijack one of Ajax’s SUVs, and after taking out his mercenaries, sets his sight’s on the man who made him this way–impaling him to the railing with a sword.

While much of the city, and the majority of this expressway chase, are generated on a computer, the production still filmed on portions of a real expressway in Vancouver.

Scenes after the chase were filmed on the Georgia Viaduct just outside Rogers Arena and BC Place, both of which were removed digitally and replaced with high rise buildings; an example of which is found below.
