Tamaha, are you ready to powwow?

Episode 4 and 5 present the setting of the Powwow, which had a brief introduction with Chula in episode 2 planning the event with others. This county fair-like event presents a spectacle and celebration for the native Americans, and also sets the stage for the Kingpin to exact his revenge on Maya.

There are many fairgrounds in the Atlanta area, but the Spalding County Fairground outside Griffin, GA was the location picked to host this sequence. Production designer Chris Trujillo is quoted as says, “we found a rural county fairground that had this great tone, texture and character.”

The giveaways that make this fairground apparent are the blue/purple roof on the main building, as well as the airplane hangar visible on the right side of some images. The entrance and parking lot, where Biscuits is working is located at the pin below, with most shots looking back towards Zebulon Road in the distance.
