The first episode of Echo opens with a retelling of the origin story of the Choctaw people. In it, Chafa saved her people from their cave and entered the world.

The field where this was filmed could be almost anywhere in the Atlanta area, but it is possibly located across the street from Trilith Studios or at the Chattahoochee Hills location of Bouckaert Farm. At this time, it is still unknown.
