I’ll be. Vibranium in the ocean.
An American research vessel sends a couple divers into the Atlantic Ocean to recover a vibranium detector. The divers and crew are then attacked by some unseen force that kills many of them.
The filming of this sequence actually did take place on the Atlantic Ocean, just off the coast of Georgia. As noted in the screen shots below, the research vessel was portrayed by the Harvey Sub-Sea, an offshore support vehicle that docked at the Mary Ross Waterfront Park in Brunswick, GA. The cast and crew loaded their equipment on board for filming along Oglethorpe Bay and into the mouth of the Atlantic.
