Giant monsters I can clearly handle…

While at a wedding reception for Christine Palmer, Stephen Strange witnesses mayhem on the streets of SoHo below. He leaps into a battle to save a young girl he recognizes from his dreams from a giant, one-eyed, tentacled monster. Wong helps out too.

While this appears to take place on Spring Street in New York’s SoHo district (between Greene and Mercer streets), it was actually filmed on the backlots of Longcross Studios in London where several blocks were built, and redressed for various shots. Apparently all versions of New York streets, from the alternate realities, outside the New York Sanctum, or from the mid-credits scene, were all shot on backlots using visual effects to complete the backgrounds and add other effects.

Also, notice the top corner of an add for “Rogers: The Musical” in the image immediately below. A nice and subtle nod to the Broadway show created for Hawkeye.
