Hearing that Stark Tech is being used by insurgents against a peaceful village in Afghanistan, Tony leaves California in his Iron Man Mark III suit. This village was filmed at the Blue Cloud Movie Ranch, in Santa Clarita, CA. The Santa Clarita location also served as the exteriors for the Ten Rings camp where Obidiah Stane visits Raza to pick up the remains of the Mark I Iron Man suit.
