Wow, look, it’s Spider-Man!
The third film in the Sam Raimi series opens with footage from the end of Spider-Man 2, with Spider-Man swinging through the city being played on a video screen above the Foot Locker store in New York’s Times Square. Later Peter walks through the square and runs into a nice old man who reminds him that one person can make a difference.
Peter is standing on the West side of 7th Avenue watching the video on a large screen that was above the Swatch, Foot Locker and Toys R Us stores (none of which are there anymore). In the subsequent shot, the corner at W 45th St can be seen with the Lowes Theater (no longer there) and Planet Hollywood (which has moved from the corner).
Later he is one block further South, by the Armed Forces Recruiting station, watching the news ticker on the ESPN offices, at W 44th St and Broadway.
