I watched my uncle die, and we chased down the wrong man.

There are two flashbacks during the film, both in black and white. The first is Peter’s idea of what happened the night Uncle Ben was shot. The second is a more accurate portrayal as related by Marko.

This change to the events of Uncle Ben’s death from Spider-Man (2002) were filmed outside the HSBC Tower on 5th Avenue (on the 40th Ave side) in New York.
