After their accident in outer space, Reed, Ben, Sue, and Johnny are taken to a Von Doom medical facility to convalesce.

Scenes at Victor’s medical compound were filmed at the University of British Columbia. The exteriors were filmed at the Liu Institute for Global Issues located on West Mall.

Balcony, Doom’s Room, & Cafeteria

Ben and Reed have a discussion on a balcony overlooking Sue on a patio. Later, Victor prepares a meal while waiting for Sue, who is dining with Reed and Ben in the cafeteria.

The balcony and some of the interior scenes were filmed in and behind the UBC Graduate Center building. Reed and Ben are above and to the right of the pool seen in the images of Victor’s room. They are also above the cafeteria, as seen later in the film.
