The Jeweler, who is a thief who steals rare and precious jewels, takes the necessary diamond that Reed and his team needed to remain safe in their spaceship. When Ben discovers the Jeweler’s hideout, he is confronted by Doom, who takes the diamond for himself, as well as Alicia–for insurance.

Originally intended to be The Mole Man, the Jeweler was a brand-new character created for this film. The interior of his hideout appears to be a soundstage, while the exterior has not been located. It’s difficult to tell if this is a real exterior in Los Angeles or perhaps the facade on a Hollywood backlot.
