Ben stops by his girlfriend Debbie’s apartment and asks her to come down to see him. She is horrified by his new, rocky appearance.

This was a difficult location to track down for quite a while. Some aspects make it seem like a real Brooklyn street (the cabs, the red police call box, the street clock), but knowing that the film was shot in Vancouver proves otherwise. This building, rebranded as Deli Mart in the film, is The Lunch Lady at the corner of Commercial Drive and Napier Street in Vancouver.
