Krylor Desert | MCU Location Scout

The new Guardians running across a Krylor desert.

These townsfolk can’t protect themselves.

The mid-credits sequence features the new Guardians discussing their favorite bands before setting off toward an oncoming stampede of creatures.

The cast and crew filmed the shots of the Krylor location at the Trona Pinnacles, a national park just east of Ridgecrest, CA. Behind-the-scenes photos from social media show that the production altered the shape of natural rock formations in this desert location to a more alien look as seen below. This location also served as the alien planet Maveth from Agents of SHIELD Season 3.
